I think the class is going well enough. I suck at drawing trees, but a terraformed space station in a galaxy far far away is something I can handle.
I tried out a few new techniques and ideas. I’m not happy with all of them, but I can see how they can be improved upon to make something I do actually like.
I’m trying to do at least one of these a day. Much like crochet, it’s doing wonder for keeping me from beating people to death with their own limbs.
Trying out color on the Zentangles made me realize – I need a better scanner.
I don’t know if they are good, but they are certainly addictive. They also clearly scan much better in black and white on my HP Deskjet.
